Privacy Policy

FrameDrop is built to process your media in your browser. This policy explains what FrameDrop itself does not collect, and what the third-party services used for analytics and advertising may process.

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Files stay on your device

FrameDrop has no upload or storage backend. Videos, images, GIFs, edits, and exported files are processed locally in your browser with WebAssembly or Canvas APIs. FrameDrop does not receive, store, or retain those files.

The site does not require an account. If you contact FrameDrop by email, the information you choose to send is handled by your email provider and used only to respond to your message.

Analytics

FrameDrop uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits and page performance. Vercel may process request and device information to provide that service according to its own privacy policy. FrameDrop does not use analytics data to identify individual visitors.

Advertising and cookies

FrameDrop uses Google AdSense to fund the free service. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers to deliver, measure, and personalize ads, depending on your region, consent choices, and Google settings.

Where consent is required, a consent message lets you accept, reject, or manage advertising choices before personalized advertising technologies are used. You can also manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.

Third-party services and retention

Google and Vercel process information under their own terms and retention practices. FrameDrop does not control data held directly by those providers. The links below explain their practices and the controls they make available.

Your choices

You can reject or manage advertising consent when the consent message is shown, adjust cookie controls in your browser, change Google ad personalization settings, or stop using the site. For a privacy question or request, contact isacmorandin@icloud.com.

FrameDrop is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the site or its third-party services change; the date above will be updated at the same time.
